At CTM Imports, we are proud to partner with manufacturers who combine practical innovation, quality craftsmanship, and a genuine understanding of farmers' needs. In this edition of our Meet the Manufacturer series, we're taking a closer look at Frontoni, an Italian manufacturer that has built an international reputation for producing robust, reliable flail mowers, reach mowers, and mulching equipment designed to perform in demanding conditions.

Built on Experience

Frontoni was founded in 1986 by Maurizio Frontoni, whose extensive experience as a lathe operator, fabricator, repair technician, and agricultural machinery dealer provided the foundation for the company. Through years of repairing and servicing machinery, Maurizio identified a common problem: many brush cutter arms and mulchers on the market lacked reliability and required excessive maintenance.

Rather than accepting these limitations, he set out to build something better. His vision was to create machinery that was durable, simple to maintain, and capable of delivering consistent performance in real-world working conditions.

A Focus on Reliability

In 1989, Frontoni introduced its first range of brush cutter arms and mulchers. Designed with practical construction methods and simplified maintenance in mind, the machines quickly gained attention throughout Italy before expanding into international markets. Farmers and contractors appreciated the robust design, quality workmanship, and dependable performance that became hallmarks of the Frontoni brand.

More than three decades later, those same principles continue to guide the company's approach to manufacturing. Every machine is engineered to withstand demanding environments while remaining easy to operate and maintain.

Blending Craftsmanship with Modern Technology

While Frontoni has grown significantly since its early days, it remains committed to the craftsmanship that helped establish its reputation. Today, the company produces more than 1,200 agricultural machines each year, combining traditional attention to detail with modern manufacturing technologies.

The second generation of the Frontoni family has played an important role in expanding the business, strengthening both product development and manufacturing capabilities. Investments in advanced production processes, including welding robots and modern fabrication systems, have helped the company maintain high-quality standards while increasing efficiency.

Designed for Performance

Frontoni's success is built on three key principles: careful design, quality materials, and practical construction. Every machine is developed with a focus on durability, operator convenience, and long-term reliability.

This philosophy is evident throughout the Frontoni range, from flail mowers and reach mowers through to specialised vegetation management equipment. Designed to handle demanding roadside, agricultural, and vegetation control applications, Frontoni machines deliver the performance and durability that professional operators expect.
